I love how corporate America will embrace a star for playing a womanizer--read: male slut--on TV by giving him a major fall ad campaign...
BUT as soon as it hits too close to the real thing--they want to drop you like yesterday news.
With the trashy morals that American society has come to embrace, corporate America, that would be shoe company Johnston & Murphy, gave the actor David Duchovny the Fall 2008 campaign for its shoes. In July, J & M states: "We are thrilled. David embodies success and confidence, along with a great sense of style, communicating the ideal image for the Johnston & Murphy brand."
This is a conservative shoe company paying money to some one who has lots of sex on a TV. If that is the case--how come Gale Harold never received any fall campaigns for his work on Queer As Folk???
It's okay for a straight male to have lots of hetero sex but for a gay male to have lots of man-to-man sex on TV??? WTF???

BUT NOW since it is revealed Duchovny has a real sexual compulsive problem, overnight the shoe company yanked all David's images from their store on Madison Avenue and 54th. A store snitch quips, " we got the call from corporate this morning to take him down."
Fuckin hypocrites.
That's what you get in the first place for promoting trash-- real or televised!!!
