Chrissy Hynde--you are dear to my heart!!!

The Pretenders are going back to their roots.

Thirty years as a unit, Hynde and group are preparing to release a country album, Break Up The Concrete, on October 7th.

You can go to CMT.com to listen to the track, Love's a Mystery.  We love this new single!!!

It has all of Chrissy's signature vocal points.  The way she ends a lyric's line with her passionate twang.  The guitars are rhythmic, slow and seducing!!!

Each week, the band is releasing one MP3 from the album on a different website.  As of NOW, you can hear two more songs on their MySpace page.
