Sports Illustrated is making one of its covers available in poster size for the public to buy .

This cover, poster-sized for purchase, is the shot of Poseidon wearing all 8 of his gold medals.

For the magazine, this is "history making!"

Phelps quips:    "I have spoken at length about my desires to help grow the sport of swimming and I am truly honored that Sports Illustrated has chosen to create this commemorative poster for fans across the US and around the world.
