The Nancy Book, by Siglio Press, $39.50, collects about 50 works by gay artist, Joe Brainard.
Brainard gives the comic strip star a makeover often drawing her into suprising and scandalous vignettes.
Some images Joe dreamt and drew: 1. Nancy as an "acid freak." 2. Nancy as androgyne lifting a skirt to reveal a petite line-drawn penis.
